Live Slovenia.com is working directly with Slovenian Estate Agents, Property Owners, Notaries, Government Officials, Court appointed Translators and Lawyers, this ensures that your investment is safe and 100% legal. We use only Slovene tradesmen for all work carried out to make sure that repairs and renovations have all necessary papers and meet all Slovene building regulations.

We work with Estate agents because in Slovenia other than private sales, only registered and licensed Estate agents may sell property in Slovenia. This also means that the property you are buying is free for sale, sold exactly as described and NOT sold at inflated tourist prices. These properties are advertised and sold to Slovenes at Slovene prices.

Live Slovenia.com will issue you with the correct and where needed, translated paperwork. You will be issued with valid receipts. Our aim is to protect 'you' the buyer against over inflated prices or agents/non agents attempting to sell protected land, farming land for building, or intentionally misrepresenting any property. Registered Agents are entitled by law to charge up to 4% comission on a sale of a property, others are not. By dealing direct with the agents and owners we aim to cut out the 'middleman' and ensure that what you pay is the price the owner is asking and the price the owner will receive.

At Live Slovenia.com We like to operate an 'open door' policy and are currently remodelling our offices to accommodate this. we want you to feel that you can drop in at any time during office hours for a free coffee and a chat or to discuss any problems or requirements you may have. We are planning internet access so you can plan flights, holidays or just keep in touch with friends and family in the UK. We would like to start an English book exchange where you can bring your old books and magazines for others to read and return. We also have plans for Slovene Language lessons during the evenings where we can get together and have a laugh at some of the attemps at pronunciation.
